Job Offer: Cook – Robin des Bois

About us:

Le Robin des Bois is a benefactor restaurant located in the heart of Parc La Fontaine. We’ve evolved to include a variety of activities from live entertainment to DJ parties, day camp, bingo and more.

Our culinary vision: We aim for a simple and consistent menu that prioritizes ease of preparation without compromising freshness and flavor. Serving a diverse clientele—sometimes up to 350 people—rain or shine, weekday or sunny Saturday, our challenge is to maintain consistent quality with the help of dedicated volunteers.

Our commitment: We’re proud to support vital organizations such as Refuge des Jeunes, Le Chaînon, and Jeunesse au Soleil, reflecting our deep commitment to the community.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced cook to join our dynamic team. If you have the necessary experience to work in a kitchen and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, this is the job for you!

Position Details:

Title: Cook
Schedule: 30-40 hours à a week
Salary: Base salary 22$ per hour (negociable)
Location: Robin des Bois, Parc La Fontaine, Montreal

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor supplies and place orders to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all hygiene and safety protocols are followed to guarantee the quality and safety of meals.
  • À la Carte Menu & Events: Manage a fixed à la carte menu while remaining adaptable for catering and special events.

Desired Profile:

  • Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a kitchen.
  • Key Skills: Inventory control, hygiene compliance, ability to work under pressure, leadership, and strong communication.
  • Personal Traits: Independence, attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility, and creativity.
