YOUTH CAMPS

SUMMER 2026: online registration

For 5 years now, Robin des Bois has been lucky enough to be in the heart of Parc La Fontaine, an ideal location for a day camp! The resto camp is a perfect balance of physical activity, outdoor fun, recipe preparation and learning sustainable approaches to catering. As part of a smaller group camp (14 kids), your children will have the opportunity and space to develop their autonomy while being well supervised by our team.

If you have any questions, please contact Kayla: camps@robindesbois.ca

SAMPLE ACTIVITIES

  • Garden tour at the Musée des Hospitalières
  • Physical activity in the park
  • Swimming pool outing
  • Culinary workshops
  • Learn about edible plants in the park
  • Friday lunchtime table service
  • Lemonade sales in the park

The aim of this catering camp is to teach children autonomy, responsibility and the values associated with cooking and nutrition in a playful context. The children will not go into the kitchen to prepare dishes, as the kitchen is too small. Because our location in Parc Lafontaine is so magical, we have the unique opportunity in Montreal to take advantage of huge terraces overlooking the pond for food preparation. Our mobile kitchen adapts to the restaurant’s activities and the weather. The morning is dedicated to learning catering tasks, while the afternoon is devoted to various activities (pool, museum, games, outdoors, etc.).

SCHEDULE

Camp hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm. Unless an emergency or important appointment arises, please respect this schedule.

On-call service :

An optional daycare service is available at a cost of $10 per day. The service is available from 8 a.m. in the morning and until 6 p.m. in the evening.

Your teenager (aged 13-15) will become an active member of our team. Supervised by the Robin’s regular staff, including our Chef, he or she will learn the rudiments of catering!

If you have any questions, please contact Kayla: camps@robindesbois.ca

Register via our new QIDIGO platform.

SAMPLE ACTIVITIES

The internship for teenagers is designed to immerse young people in the world of catering and the job market.

From recipe preparation, learning culinary tools and techniques, to counter service, dishwashing and kitchen maintenance, your teens will have the chance to understand and practice every possible task in the restaurant business.

At the end of their internship, a letter of recommendation will be provided (on request). Your teenager must be a positive member of the team and able to follow and respect instructions. Of course, he’ll have to learn, but he’ll also have to help the team with day-to-day tasks. This internship combines the tasks of an employee, a volunteer and a trainee.
